i finally did it!
yup, i put down my deposit on an apartment in Cap Hill yesterday! in april, i'll be a 5-10 minute walk away from the bus stops, friends' places, club/bars, shopping, downtown, the waterfront...EVERYTHING! =) and no more driving to/from work in traffic...HOV bus lanes, baby!

actually, i'm running AWAY from the eastside. got a _somewhat_ highrise (of 8 stories tall) downtown.
i dont move for at least another month, so the housewarming wont be a while. funny thing...just this morning everyone here was talking about upcoming parties and we're fighting for spots to hold ours. got so many bdays and ppl moving coming up.
now that you've already invited yourself, it totally expect you to be there! ;)

Hey, you know, you could hire me for the weekend to cook for your party, and that might be excuse enough for my bosses to let me travel. Could even write it off as a business expense.... ;-)
